Late June first time mommies

Are you planning on doing something small/cute for your husband/SO for Father's day even though he is technically not a father yet?  Also, do you want/expect/hope that your husband/SO does something for you on Mother's day this year? 

I am thinking about doing something small, like getting my husband and the LO (LO is a boy) a matching shirt/onesie for Father's Day.  As for Mother's day, I'm not expecting my husband to do anything but not sure if I would feel disappointed that he didn't.  What about you?

I'm not expecting anything for Mother's Day this year. If LO is here before Father's Day, then I am definitely getting this for DH. If LO is not here yet, then I will give him this when LO is born.

I'll probably do something small for H. We normally do something silly on those days anyway. Last year I got a plant and a card signed by our dog and cat. I have no idea what tho.

It all depends on what he does for me on mother's day.  I'm not going to bring it up, as I want to see what he comes up with on his own.

I am planning to do something for Father's Day and I am pretty sure DH is doing something for Mother's Day.  Although our baby's are not here yet, we are still mother's.  After everything we go through in pregnancy, we at least deserve a card!

I am going to be visiting my parents out of town on mother's day so if he does something it will have to be the day before or after. Last year I got a card from all our animals because our one dog was scheduled to be put to sleep a few days later and it was my last mother's day as his mommy.

I will probably get him something small but I have no idea what.

I'm not a first time mom, but when I was pregnant with DS1 (he wasn't due until September, I still did a little something for "dad" and my mother did something for me that mothers day. It was sweet, and you really are a mom, even if your baby hasn't been born yet.

Wow - I didn't even think about this. Incredible - Mothers Day is for me now too. Wow. Funny how some amazing things just creep up on me.

I have an NC State onesie for DH (he's an alum... and I went to UNC and we're rivals so it's definitely for him!).  It's just a little something I'll give him regardless.  His birthday is pretty soon after our due date, so he'll likely have some dad related birthday presents as well (though not too many because I want him to still have his day!).

I totally agree with you. When DH found out that I was going to be due on June 6, he was really excited becuase then he get Father's Day first. I keep telling him that isn't the case. I'm sure he'll do something nice for Mother's Day though. As for what I'm doing for him I haven't quite decided yet. I don't have a Father so this is all new to me.

I don't expect anything for Mother's Day.

For MH I  plan to have my sister take a shot of him and my belly when we do our maternity pictures. Then I will put it in a frame that says  "Daddy and Me" or something similar.

For his birthday in May and Father's day he got a new grill.  It worked well and I didn't feel too bad about spending so much on just one gift.
