WOAH!! All I am say is I am extremely surprised. I work as an Application Developer and work with all males... I am the only female in the IT department, so I automatically thought "No office baby shower for me".... well boy was I wrong! My supervisor asked if I was coming in last Wednesday because of an important meeting. (I've been working from home since being placed on bed rest, but allowed to go in the office once a week) Well if you remember me saying that I fell in the shower last week and had to go into L&D that was the day I was planning on coming into work. They said they had pizza and stuff... I felt really bad!! Well... today my supervisor asked if he could speak with me in one of the HR cubs... I was a bit nervous and shaking and a bit annoyed. He knew that I can't walk very far and that I was already in a lot of pain (I asked to leave at 2:30 today because I am so out of alignment) . So we walked over to the one room and walked in and everyone was there and was like "SURPRISE!!"... all the males that I work with!! They had a cake and gifts it was amazing! Two of the males had their wives come. One of the wives made me this wonderful quilt!!! They also got me $200 in gift cards for target!! Holy crap I was not expecting this at all especially working in a field that is mostly male dominating! I feel so loved!

That's awesome! And so much sweeter knowing it came from a bunch of guys. Too cute.

That is super sweet!
For my first I worked in a very male dominated place but we had a few females that pulled together an incredible luncheon shower. The guys all commented that it was their 1st baby shower (pink and blue pastel to boot). So cute.
My boss at the time was a man and ring-led the whole thing. So sweet. He and his wife even did the gift shopping.
