Do you go on an outing every day of the week?
The first 3 months I was out everyday. I am home mostly now because I want LO to have consistent naps and it seems to be working! But some days i go crazy! I found I can take a quick trip to target or the mall between his naps and not mess anything up.
How about you?
Re: Another question for SAHM
I try to take the kids out once a week (library majority of the time). Makayla does have playdates so she gets out and I can stay home and get things done.
I hate going out alot, it messes up feeding and napes with Kirstin.
THIS ISN'T THE BUMP, THIS IS SPARTA!!!
I go out a few days a week most of the time but I try to work around her naps as much as possible because she's a grump if she doesn't sleep well.
She sleeps well in her carseat/stroller though, so if it's an outing where she can stay in there I'll try to leave the house at the start of her naptime. Otherwise I take her right after she wakes up so she won't catnap in the car and mess up her schedule too bad.
I'm new at the SAHM thing. DD was born in mid-December, so we didn't go out a lot at all in the beginning. Now we do a store trip probably once a week or every other week. I also go for a 2-mile dog+baby walk every day that I can (at least 3 times a week). I have a friend with a young baby who lives about 15 minutes away - she works 3 days/week but we try to get together on the days she's home.
I'm pretty happy with this setup. I like being home with her - I'm happy to get outside though. The walks make me feel productive enough.
This is us, too.
It just depends. On Sundays and Tuesdays we have church things that we go to. At least one day a week we go to the grocery store, and then maybe one other day we'll go to Target or the mall and walk around. So usually we're out and about 4 days a week for sure, sometimes more.
She's getting big enough now that running errands is really fun with her, but I also dont mind staying inside all day. When we had snowpocalyse back in Jan it was totally awesome being inside for a week straight- I Loved it!

It depends on the week. When the weather is nice, we take a walk to the playground that's about 15 minutes away everyday. When it's crappy out, not so much.
We do story time at the library every Wednesday-that's our only consistent activitiy. We also do things like go to the zoo (we have a membership and it's less than 20 minutes away) and the indoor carousel on a regular basis.
This is us to. We go to the grocery store on Monday and then usually we have some type of appoinment or meeting to go to (LLL or Moms club). We take a walk around the neighborhood every day that i's above 50 degrees.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
We typically go out every couple of days. If the weather is nice, we go on a walk every day.
Going out, other than on a walk, really just depends on how the day is going. There isn't an enclosed mall where I live, but as the weather gets nicer we have more options of things to do. If only library story time wasn't exactly during nap time!
4 days a week we go to stroller exercise classes that are funded by my health insurance.
The other day we go visit my grandfather.
We always do our things at the same time everyday--- so that is the nap she takes in her carseat. She takes the others at home.
