So I've been working out with my husband for 3-4 years now. I used to be a personal trainer, so he and I have a pretty good routine and we work well together. Tonight, we were working out, and I was spotting him with bench press, which he rarely uses me anyways. So I was hovering him while he was lifting and I helped him slightly on his last rep...like usual. (mind you, my husband doesn't lift 500 lbs or anything, but it's enough to where he can usually get it except for a tiny push at the very end...) Well, this guy came over and told me that he can take over from here. Um, thanks for being sweet and looking out for me, but I know what I'm doing. It just adds to the list of things that we expectant moms are fully incapable of doing, according to others. I know he was just trying to be nice, but my hormones are taking over and it was just annoying that he assumed I couldn't spot him for something so light, and that this isn't my first rodeo. Poor guy...I'm just snotty right now (this week..)
