He's traveling a lot and lately and I thinkg feeling a little bad about it - he keeps asking me what kind of present I'd like :) Anyone have some suggestions?

 TIA!

  • It is true- the Brits have the BEST tea! They have cute little tins that have double decker buses on them and the tea is inside. They're cute and you can save the tins for the kids or piggy banks or storing things. And they also have really good candy. My Mom is from England, so growing up, the candy was always the best part. They have good chocolate too. :)

  • Pickle and cheese flavored potato chips!

If you have train loving boys, they have thomas the tank and bob the builder shaped pasta in the supermarkets.

Waterford went bankrupt a few years ago Sad, so tell him to be careful if he buys any b/c the quality now is not great (bought out by an Asian company I think).

Have him pick up some Haribo Star mix (gummy candies), chocolate Flakes, and some cheese and onion crisps (like potato chips but better).  I went to school in England, and the candy there is soooooooooooooooooooooo good!

  • I was born in England and go back to visit family as much as I can. We always stock up on food goodies that are hard to find here and then we ration them when we get home and make them last...hehe. Some of our favorites are: Thornton's Toffee (the best...soft, chewy, and delicious. I like the original the best), Chocolate digestive biscuits, Crunchie candy bars (my fave!), Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles (candy), Rocky bars (choc covered biscuit), Penguin bars, Club bars (there are so many yummy choc biscuits aka cookies), lemon curd, Cadbury's chocolate (in any/all forms..LOL), Hula Hoops crisps/chips, interesting flavors of Walkers crisps, etc. All treat type food but they remind me of my childhood. I agree with pp that the candy/chocolate is so much better over there!
