DH and I sat down last night and made a girls list and boys list. Here is what we have come up with. We are open to adding or removing! This is going to be a hard decision.
Girls: Kynleigh (DH's pick), Natalie, Mollie, Kelsey, Barrett, Mary Ellen (after DH's grandmother who passed away last year), Taylor, Riley, and Caroline.
........Boys:Wesley, Owen, Andy, Avery, Carson, Connor, Caden, Hunter, Ty, Weston, Griffin, and Ryland. We are from the south so some of these names are very traditional or southern..it's what we like!

#4 EDD 5/19/14 It's a boy!
Re: Finally making a list..
I bolded the ones I liked.
If I were you, I'd ditch Barrett (not a good choice for a girl; there are much "prettier" boys' names for girls), Kynleigh (just bad all around), Avery (it's a big hit for girls right now), and Caden (all the Aiden-names are overdone. He'll be one of a million).
I like the thought of using Mary Ellen, but I don't like the name itself. Maybe it could be used as a middle name?
Barret and Riley are boys. They need so switch lists. Kynleigh is a jumble of letters that make familiar sounds, but its not a name.
GO for Natalie, Griffin or Wesley
Girls:
Love: Natalie, Mary Ellen, Caroline
Meh: Mollie
Dislike: Kynleigh (!), Kelsey, Taylor, Riley
Boys:
Love: Wesley, Andrew, Connor
Meh: Owen, Carson, Griffin
Dislike: Avery, Caden, Hunter, Ty, Weston, Ryland
Girls:
Good - Molly (spelled like this), Natalie, Caroline.
Okay - Mary Ellen (I'm just not a huge fan of double names, but I know a girl names this and she's seriously awesome), Kelsey
Bad - Kynleigh, Barrett, Taylor, Riley (the last three are boy names)
Boys:
Good - Wesley, Andrew (nn Andy), Connor
Okay - Owen (popular), Carson, Weston
Bad - Avery (I'm afraid it's gone to the girls, which makes me sad), Caden (please don't), Hunter, Ty (maybe as a nn for something?), Griffin, Ryland.
Some of these are just EEEK!!! But I don't hate the non-bolded ones
Agree with this. I also like Mary Ellen (and knew one growing up and it suited her)
I like: Natalie, Kelsey, Mary Ellen, and Caroline. I do not see Barrett as a girl's name at all. From your boy's list, I like Wesley, Owen and Weston.
Have you considered... Savannah, or Whitney? Jasper, or Beau?
Girls
Good-Natalie, Mollie/Molly, Kelsey, Mary Ellen, Caroline.
Taylor is ok, pretty unisex and NMS.
Kynleigh is not good! Barrett and Riley are boy names.
Boys
Griffin, Cayden, Ryland I don't like.
Andy and Ty-are they nn's for Andrew and Tyler? The full names are fine.
I also liked Avery for a boy until they started using it as a girl name, which makes me sad. The rest of the boy names are good.
My favorites:
Girls: Kelsey, Mary Ellen, Caroline
Boys: Wesley, Owen.
Here's what I like:
Natalie
Mollie(but I like the -y spelling better)
Kelsey(nice but I think it's a little dated)
Taylor
Riley
Caroline
I don't like Mary Ellen, but it seems that the family tie is strong, which sways my decision.
Wesley(I do think that it's dated too but a nice name nonetheless)
Owen
Hunter
The others are all NMS. I'm from PA though, so take it with a grain of salt.
