Shart Diapers

What do you do with shart diapers? (Where they poo just a tiny bit when they toot.) Roman sharted about 8 times yesterday where he just left a itty bitty tiny streak in his diaper but I changed him anyways just because I hate the thought of him sitting in it. I also hated to think I was being a bit wasteful at the same time. I went through a TON of diapers yesterday. Maybe I'm just being wierd but I'd rather waste several diapers than him have dried poo stuck to his butt.

What do you do when LO sharts a little bit? I'm so torn on what to do half the time.

We change her because it stinks like she did a big ole poop.  We can't take it for very long.

I change too. H has me terrified of giving her a UTI so I change her when she farts.

Lol, I went into this thinking it was a brand for a diaper. I was like " that is a weird name for a diaper". Anyway, poop is poop to me so I change her.

If it's a really tiny bit I'll just use a wipe and clean him and the diaper if it's not close to time for a change. That only happens once in a while though because we cd, so change often.

I'm glad to know everyone else does this too. DH frowned at me a few times for changing a diaper in which he thought was unnecessary since it was so tiny. But I agree, poop is poop and will be changed regardless of amount.

REALLY makes me want to switch to CD.

I change her, which does result in a lot of diapers, since one of her nicknames is Shartlette.

I read this as "short" diapers, but that's because I'm surrounded by Boston accents. 

I change them. I would not want to sit in my poo, no matter how little. I also change pee diapers because I read somewhere that kiddo'll be easier to housebreak (er, toilet train) because he'll hate being wet. Dunno if there's merit to that or not.

We CD, but even if we used disposables I'd still probably change him.  Poop is really bad for skin, and if I left a shart diaper on him I'd be afraid of him getting a rash.
