Hello everyone! I've never posted on this board, although I snoop now and then to see if anyone else is experiencing similar issues with their 3-6 mo olds.
Natalie is 4 and a half months old and has never slept through the night, although lately it's been progressively worse. Even as a newborn, she slept more at night. I'm up with her about every 45 min-1 hr at night.
I used to actually get her up out of her crib and go out into the living room with her and attempt to feed her, then started bringing her into the bed with me with only a dim nightlight....nothing is working. This past weekend my hubby anchored her crib onto our bed to make our co-sleeping safer. He's a deep sleeper and I refused to let him sleep in our bed when she was in it, and was tired of spending all night on the couch. The situation is not ideal, and I had no plans on co-sleeping prior to her shananagans
I'm just at my wits end....last night she woke up, but this time she was SCREAMING. She didn't want a bottle, didn't want her pacifier.....she wants to be in the nook of my arm and rocked. I'm beyond exhausted...we also have a 2 1/2 year old and I'm 2 months pregnant with number 3.....
She recently started on Zantac for reflux (which is really helping), so I don't think it's related to that.
I know I'm rambling, I'm sorry! Any advice would help!
Re: She's a different baby after dark!!
Aw, thank you so much. She is such a ham for the camera.
Good luck with your DD, hopefully you can get longer stretches of sleep from her soon.
