I have been in love with this name for a long time, and have only ever met one girl named Ivy. I'm worried that it may be getting popular fast.

I really like this name.  There was a character in a book series I read when I was growing up named Ivy and I used to say I was going to name my daughter that.  The plan has changed, but my love for the name hasn't.  I don't know any IRL.

I don't know anyone named Ivy! I could see it becoming more popular as an alternative to "Evie," but I don't see it happening anytime soon.

I know a 40 something Ivy. I absolutely love that name (I'm a sucker for nature names) it is simple, beautiful and easy to spell!

I've only known of two girls named Ivy in my lifetime. It's def not a common name. It's a good choice! Very pretty!

I don't like it. It reminds me of I.V...like what they use to give you fluids in the hospital. I prefer Holly.

I don't know very many babies, but I know 2 named Ivy. I don't like the name. It reminds me of poison ivy.

It is funny to me that you suggest this because one Ivy I know has twin sisters named Hedy and Holly. They were a family of 6 but the only nature names were Ivy and Holly

I know 2 Ivy's- one is a childhood friend (so now an adult), and another friend just had a baby girl in October and named her Ivy.  Personally I love the name...not sure how well it will age though, which is why I would most likely never use it for my own daughter.

I know one Ivey who will turn 3 soon.  It's actually her NN.  I love the name and I don't think it's very popular at all.  Good choice.
