Forward facing question???

Where are the shoulder straps suppose to fall in the slots...above his shoulders or just at them?  I have it on the slot that is just at them.  The one above it seems too high above his shoulders.

Above them, though when I moved DD's up to the next one when she reached the other one, she could easily slip out of the harness, but she is very slight.

Like his strap would probably be by his ears if I moved up.

The shoulder straps should fall below or right at the shoulder.  They should not be above the shoulder.

Actually, that's true of rear facing, but not forward.

Sulla, you're right, I stand corrected.  I just checked our Britax and it does say for forward facing that it should be right at or above the shoulder.

I wasn't aware that there was a difference.  Guess I need to fix Gavyn's car seat.

sunshiny79 is thinking of rear facing.  DD was the same way with the slots by her ears.  I thought it was weird at first, but I read the manual 8 times and that is what you are suppose to do.  I had to really watch her to make sure she didn't slide the chest clip down and slip her arms out.
