I tried to look this up and it seems that people had different experiences. 5 times in the past week I've been feeling new and different movement in addition to the normal stuff. She kicks me super fast, like the speed of a punching a speed bag for a few seconds. The first time it was 2 times in a row with about a minute in between and last night it was 3 times in a row. I'm just really surprised that they can move this quickly. It does not feel like hiccups because it is rapid fire for a few seconds then stops. I did feel like she was in a little bit of a different position after each occasion - is it just that? How does she move so fast?!
Re: Super fast movement - update from midwife
That is what I was worried about too, I think it has been the first thing I'm actually a little bit anxious about. But, I am sensitive to that because right now because I'm working with a little girl with seizures and her mom says that looking back she felt them in utero.
Yes, I have a blog and it's hilarious (except when it's not)
Good to hear they are normal! I was going to ask my midwife next appointment.
