They are coming back to Ohio, to Riverside Hospital to do another shoot....I am NOT looking forward to this. I am SO tired of hearing everyone oohh and aahhh over this show. And the news, and FB posts get out of hand when they are here. UGH. I hope this is their lat trip here!

Not to add fuel to your fire, but I had to make a visit to L&D a few weeks ago at Riverside, and they seemed like they would be taping again in June.....

I heard this morning on the news that it will be April and May....i don't even GO to Riverside! lol. I'm just over it already! ha ha.

Pretty much every week a Dr. from my practice has been on the show...including the one that last week said "What do you think is happening, someone is in labor"

Here is to hoping that they are done filming by the time LO gets here. I have enjoyed watching the ridiculousness of the people of the show, but I only plan on having DH in the delivery room. If I am not allowing my family in, why would I want it to be on National Television?

For those delivering at Riverside, you don't have to be tapped. I have a friend who delivered there when they were filming season one and she opted out. It's actually a local production company that does the filming, not some "fancy" Hollywood types. Lifetime just does the editing, voice overs and broadcasting.

OP: I'm SO sick of this show and I don't even have cable. The few episodes I've seen just pissed me off. Granted, it was probably more post-production stuff that got on my nerves than actual real stuff, but some of the people made me so mad I wanted to hunt them down and slap them (the mom who was laying down eating Cheetos while her daughter was right next to her fighting through contractions... seriously lady?!).

Also, I wish Riverside would fix the lights that are out on their sign. Any time they show an exterior shot of the hospital it has part of the logo or some letters not illuminated. It just looks trashy.

And another thing: Since there so many C-bus moms on this post, I encourage everyone to start dropping by the Columbus local board here on the Bump. The Columbus Knot board was a very busy, helpful board and it would be great if the local Bump board was the same.

I have to admit to loving this show....but pp is right, you have to sign a release to be shown on TV, so I wouldn't worry too much about it if you don't want to be taped.

They have a site where you have to fill out an application to be on it, so for all who were worried, they don't tape everyone! lol. I was just referring to how much attention it gets on the local news and how many of my FB friends "Wishes they were pregnant so they could participate!" every morning they will talk about this on the local news and it just drives me bonkers!!

I'm uber happy that I have no reason to go to riverside. I think the constant conversation about it would make me want to rip someone elses hair out!

I think im the only one..... haha I love the show but then again I love that kind of stuff.  I would think it would be funny to see my doctors on tv as well.  Although if I were at that hospital I def. opt out of being filmed!!!

I really think those parents were joking. LOL The guy last week who had his dad in the room and they were talking about food to make her throw up though?! That was mean!! I would have aimed at both of them.
