BTDT: I'm desperate and therefore asking a MP question.

At least I warned you in the subject line what this was about, right?

If and when you lost your MP, did you lose it all at once, or bit by bit?

If you lost it bit by bit, did it have blood in it or was it clear?

I ask because last night and today I've had a good amount of EWCM, but it's clear like it would have been when I was fertile.

Grasping at straws here.

I had more mucus in the last few weeks, I do now also. However, my MP was definitely different. I lost started losing it right after I hit 40 weeks and it was much thicker and blood tinged.

I started losing my MP the other day and it basically looks like glops of snot.  As my DH said "so your vagina is blowing its nose?"   When I said it to my OB she said that was the best way to describe it that it looks like something that came out of your nose.  HTH

I did not notice losing mine.  I did have more mucus, but it was like you are saying, just like fertile CM.  Not blood-tinged, not crazy insane amounts, not remarkable. 

I actually posted on here how I hadn't lost mine the same day that my MW said I did not in any way have one left.

EWCM is probably just an increase in mucus- MP is much more (pardon the graphic adjective) gelatinous. It doesn't have to be blood tinged though.

I didn't lose mine until after they began my induction. There is absolutely no way I could have confused it for CM. It came out all at once and (tmi) was super globbed into one piece.

This for me with DS ... It was definitely different. Towards the end you have an increase of mucus in your discharge but it's not necessarily the MP. Mine was bloody tinged.
