Aubrey is cute, but getting very popular. All the other names are NMS. Kenadie (or however you spelled it) is absolutely atrocious spelled that way. I would have picked it if had been spelled Kennedy, I think the classic spelling is strong and beautiful and your child won't have problems with people spelling it, etc...

The Kenadie spelling is horrible, imo. Morgan and Taylor are two very unisex names.
Exactly this
Sorry if you don't want our opinions but that's kind of the point of this board... honesty. Next time, don't ask.
Funny how my post never asks for an opinion hence why I chose a poll. If I wanted opinions on spellings and what not I would have asked. I am interested in which name people like out of the choices given. There is also the "none" option to opt out if you don't like any of them. I really don't care what you think about the spellings because more than likely I'll think your children's name or future child's name is gross.

Atrocious or not, I like it. I grew up with a very uncommon last name, hard to pronounce and spell. It wasn't that big of a deal. She'll get through life just fine.

If you don't really want opinions on why we wouldn't have chosen that name then maybe just set up a link to a vote website like babynames.com or if you just want positive feedback and not listen to what people are not fans of I would advice a different website altogether.

Again I didn't ask for opinions, just set up a poll. Thats why I put the option of "none". I don't care what your opinions are for not liking the names. They don't matter. I thought that was the point of having a poll, so people can click and be done. If I wanted to know why you did or didn't like the names I would simply write a post and not include a poll. Its really a simple concept to understand...

Not really people are on this forum asking for opinions, even with a poll they are given, I guess next time write a disclaimer saying: I don't actually want your opinion other then which of these names, but don't tell me why you like or dislike this name because I don't care.

Apparently not everyone is asking for opinion, I'm not. A disclaimer wouldn't do any good. People do as they want.

So, you mean like give opinions on spellings?? Aubrey is ok but the others, IMO, are, as you put it, gross.

I hate Makenna and Kenadie. Blech. They're awful. Both are very.... low rent... to me, compared to the others.
I picked None, but I think I'd like Aubrey with a different middle name. Aubrey Taylor is pretty. My favorite two would be Aubrey Morgan but I don't like the flow. Morgan Taylor has good flow but is way too unisex and I believe you should have a gender-specific name as a middle if you use a unisex first.

A name poll solicits a vote, or a choice, or, essentially, an opinion on which name one likes best.
If you want to look illiterate by spelling your kid's name that way that's your business. But this is a public message board. If you don't want opinions, take your seventh grade attitude and find something else to do on the internet.
Do you know how consonants work? I feel sorry for any child named this. As for your unwanted opinions...don't scroll down and read them then- get over it.

Actually, it seems like the majority of people who post a poll on this board do want comments on why others liked a certain name or didn't like a certain name. Similar to how I see all the time on here that just writing NMS is not helpful to the poster, they want to know why.

What a ray of sunshine you are, OP. Can you come back soon? Perhaps with a slightly less hostile attitude?

This.
I agree with all of this. No matter how you spell them Kenadie and Makenna names I would expect from juvenile teen moms. Trendy and obnoxious. I love Aubrey, that's my DD's name, but I would choose a different middle name.
The Kenadie spelling is horrible, imo. Morgan and Taylor are two very unisex names. I picked none but Aubrey is okay.
Thanks for your unwanted opinion. I didn't ask if you liked the spellings or not.
If I were you I would be glad to know that so many people would have this reaction to the spelling. And if you don't really care that people will have that reaction, then why are you complaining? If you really didn't care that so many people were posting that they hated the spelling you would just ignore those posts rather than whining that people weren't following your rules.

Don't ask what people think if you don't want to know the answer. This is the internet, and you do not have control over what people post.
And now go read some articles on the impact of names on people. Everything from Freakanomics to Psychology Today (magazine) has information on how children achieve (or don't) tied to names. Names with unique spellings are no exception. I don't think any mom would want people to assume their child was not intelligent or well schooled simply because their first name has a funky spelling.
I understand your point about your last name... but first names are different since they are chosen.
Think about it.... and good luck.
Best friends and sisters... 24 months and 16 months
Why don't people just spell their children's names correctly anymore? It's like everyone is in some contest to see who can create the most unique (read : F'd up) spelling that they can phonetically get away with.

The purpose of the bog system is to ask people their opinions. If you don't care about opinion of others, I would save yourself the stress and not bother posting. It's a free post and nasty or not, people are allowed their opinion. Sorry, but you kind of asked for it.

OMG! Kenadie is like sooooooooooooooo cuhte & uneek!!!!
Is that better?
Kenadie does not = Kennedy
I would pronounce it Keen-ah-DIE
Spell it however you want- after all it is YOUR kid. But don't be suprised if your/her whole life you are constantly correcting people, defending your choice and judged on your intelligence/education based on your butchering of a very well-known surname. If you get all huffy about it then maybe you should rethink your cre8tive creashion.
Aubrey and Morgan are perfectly fine names.

LMAO, Im not the troll hating on people's names/spelling choices.
You are, however, the troll being extremely rude to those whose opinions you wish to solicit, whether via the means of a poll or through - heaven forbid! - people actually expressing their opinion.
Thank you, though, for reminding me what happens when we hang around teh intrawebz for too long - I have a room to finish painting, and you've just encouraged me to get off my duff and get it done.

If I put up a poll I definitely want input whether good or bad. The poll part is nice though because people have the option to just vote and not say anything. So you end up getting some opinions but a larger number of just votes. I have a feeling the OP is going to name her daughter Kenadie just to spite us all.
