I am going crazy over baby clothes. I just bought a little bodysuit size 12-18 months and a classic tulle dress
size 18-24 months. I couldn't even help myself, they were too ridiculously adorable and under $20 each with free shipping.
I know the sizes seem huge, but I've been buying large for 4 reasons: 1. people go for the tiny sizes for gifts, 2. I don't plan on having much of a brain during the early months so a fashion show is out of the question, 3. breastfed babies tend to be big, and 4. I shrink everything! Plus I think that dress would look great displayed in her room until she is big enough to fit in it.
Would love to see what ya'll are including in your little ones' wardrobes!
Re: Now that I know we're having a girl,
Isn't it so addicting?! I'm having a boy so it's not quite as much fun but still fun nonetheless. My DH thanks God we're not having a girl because he knows I would be going nuts-o! I swear every time I walk into a kid's clothing store I automatically go straight for the girls section because the stuff is just so darn cute! I am stocking up on some really cute little wovens and hats for my little guy. I already have my eye on his first pair of Chucks too! But I'm following your same rule, lots of onesies and basics in newborn-3mo and saving the really fun stuff for when he's a little bit bigger.
Happy shopping!!!
