Does DC cry when a stranger talks to him/her? DD has been freaking out when a stranger talks to her for the last 2 weeks or so. She gets the saddest face & starts wailing. First it was the old man at the Uhaul store, then the landlord & tonight the poor waitress at Applebee's!

My DD hit that stage for 2-3 weeks at 4 months.  It went away, but new people-- especially ones with deep voices-- would make her get a scared look about 3 seconds before a freak-out.

No, thankfully we don't have bad stranger reactions yet...I'm sure it is coming.

Yeah - he definitely has a touch of stranger anxiety.

Henry is doing this already! And with my mom who we see every week! The last three times that we have seen her (in one week) he cried and wouldnt let her hold him. It breaks her heart!

My DD has been doing this for several weeks so far. My poor mom and dad think she must be one crabby baby. She cries when anyone else, besides her daycare lady and mom and dad, hold her. And, I always tell them over the phone how good-natured she is. They must think, "Sure she is."

Sometimes DD will get some stranger anxiety.  Usually she just wants to smile and be all flirty!
