Induction has been scheduled :)

Yesterday at my appointment my doctor went ahead and scheduled an induction for me.  I am currently 39 weeks and 2 days, so we are going to go with an induction the night before my due date (Wednesday) in hopes that LO will appear on my due date!!  My doctor only did this because we are afraid of how big LO is going to be and dosen't want me going past my due date.  So, either I go into labor before Wednesday or I have a baby on Thursday!!

Having the induction scheduled  has me sooo nervous, because now I know that the end is coming!!  I have lots to get done before then, but I am sooooo ready to meet our little angel!!

I am due Friday, but am getting induced Monday the 4th. DH had to travel for 9-10 days beginning the 19th, and we wanted to be sure that he had some time with LO before he left. I'm also 3-4cm and 80% effaced, so OB thinks that the induction will be more of a "jump start" and that I won't need much to begin the final stages of labor. <Crossing fingers>

I am hoping that I go into labor today. I wouldn't mind starting labor naturally, and LO being born earlier! I know how you feel about the nerves. I told DH last night that I think that early labor would probably be less painful than my nervous stomach the morning of the induction.
