If we have a boy we are planning on calling them Elliot Alexander

I personally dont but I know some people think of ET with the name Elliot. And our surename starts with a T. Is this too much of an invite for teasing?

 

We havent found any other boys name we love anywhere near as much

I like Elliot Alexander, my only hesitation is that with a surname beginning with T, and a FN ending in T, they will either run together or be awkward to say together.

I would, but only because I babysat a little boy named Elliott. His favorite movie was ET so he nicknamed himself ET.  You realized that his initials would be EAT though right?  BTW I love the name Elliott Alexander!

Yea I know it spells EAT

I dont think middle names get used often though really. I never use mine

I do like Elliot, but my 2 reasons for rethinking would be this:

And the fact that so many girls these days are Ellie, Ella, Eliana, Elle, etc.  I love all those names, but the whole El-anything trend these days is getting old.
