How long do bluebonnets stay around?

Is April 17th too far out? I'm trying to plan a picture taking session.

Probably not but since it has been so dry they probably won't stay too long and they won't be very full either.

I wouldn't count on them being around then. They're not the greatest this year and the fields already aren't as full as they've been in past years. I'd either try to get in with your photographer earlier or go snap some yourselves now just in case.

I agree. It's not really a great year for bluebonnets. Bad weather last year and not enough rain yet this spring. The two best patches I've seen in previous years have NONE so far this year
