I recently got a great deal on some used NB and small covers, inserts, and fitteds. While they have very little staining, the Aplix on most of them is going or gone. Since I really don't see them lasting much beyond another kiddo, maybe 2, I don't think snaps would be a great investment, but I'm not really sure if it's possible to replace Aplix (the hook side, specifically). I can sew decently, and given their condition, I don't really care what they look like in the end, as long as they are functional. But if replacing the Aplix isn't an option or isn't easy, should I just go with a snap conversion? And how do I know if I need to replace the elastic on them as well? (Don't have a baby yet to try them out!) Thanks!
