Ok baby, you win. I thought you were a boy all along, but now I know you must be a girl- determined to come in April so that diamonds can be your birthstone. Mommy will buy you one if you make you grand entrance this weekend- promise. Monday is supposed to be gorgeous here and I'd like to bring you home in some warm sunshine!!!

Is it weird that I've considered the birthstone too? Diamonds look nice with anything, so if I want to do something with our birthstones together, April is the perfect month.

I told DH that of course our girl has to have a diamond as her birthstone...I love it though, expensive or not!

yeah months ago when i realized she'd be a diamond i was slighly upset since we won't be able to afford to get her any super nice birthstone jewelry for a while.

Yeah, I am actually unhappy that diamond is the birth stone since I boycott buying diamonds...sigh.  (My wedding ring is a sapphire from my DH's family's heirloom ring).  I will have to scour antique stores for LO's jewelry...
