Wouldn't I know if I had a hemorrhoid?

I was going to the bathroom & when I wiped I got some blood. It was about a one inch streak. I kept wiping trying to figure out where it was coming from but I couldn't tell. I know sometimes hemorrhoids can bleed but as far as I know I don't have that. So I am either bleeding some my vag or rectum & can't tell which! It stopped so far (it's been about 5 minutes). I also though maybe it was my mucus plus but it just didn't fit the description & I didn't see anything in the toilet. Should I be worried or can this just happen & it's not a big deal?

If you were see what would happen if you pee then wipe.

If you had an external hemorrhoid, you would feel it on the outside,  If you have an internal one, you may not feel it.  Or if you had an internal tear.  Have you had any constipation problems lately?

I have external one right now, just from pressure down there.  And I've had internal hemorrhoids or tears (not sure which it was, it just caused bleeding) when I had constipation and hard stool problems (earlier in pregnancy)  Sometimes it hurt and sometimes it didn't, so you may not be able to tell if you had something.

 I would just wait a little and see if any more comes out.  I would think if it were vaginal it would keep coming and if it were anal, it would only come when you went to the bathroom.

I had the same problem and I have internal one or two. It doesn't happen every time I go number 2 but never when I am going just pee.

Um okay so I went pee & wiped & nothing but then I touched the toilet paper to my rectum & there was more blood. I really haven't been constipated at all but I guess I should just assume this is an internal hemorrhoid? If it keeps bleeding little bits it really isn't a worry right? Sorry for all the TMI but any blood freaks me out!

With DS, I pooped and filled the toilet with blood.  I freaked the fvck out and we sped like maniacs to the ER.  It was an interal roid.

I'm been having the same problem (although more blood in the toilet than on toilet paper, if that makes sense). I had an appt today, and b/c it's been getting worse, my OB did an exam. She thinks that it's probably hemorrhoids, but she didn't see anything.  She gave me a prescription for suppositories (antibiotics, I think) to see if that helps.  She said that if that doesn't work, we'll have to investigate further. Not fun, but I figured I'd let you know what has happened to me so far.

Sounds like an internal hemorrhoid to me.

hey bluedia i wanted to comment on your comment cuz im not 100 percent sure but i think suppositories are to make you have a softer bowel movement, and most if i am correct you insert into the rectum rather than take by mouth. i could be totally wrong but i wanted to say something just in case.

Yeah I am going with hemrroid and just be careful and try not to push to hard. But LO is fine

FWIW they make alot of different types of suppositories.... they make tylenol and phenergan ones. They also have some to where they help shrink the size of the hemorrhoid. I've never heard of one for an antibiotic though. Just to clarify im a nurse at a nursing home thats why i know way to much about suppositories
