I?m 9 weeks and I?ve been having some creamy white vaginal discharge since I found out I am pregnant, I know that is normal. However, today I have a heavier yellow, mucus like discharge. No itching or anything like that. I put in a call to my doctor, but while waiting for her to get back to me I did a bad thing and googled. I just read so many stories of women who had yellow mucus like discharge and then miscarried shortly after. One woman said it was her mucus plug.
Did anyone else have this before they miscarried if you were a couple months along? All of my other losses were chemicals so I just had bleeding. I wish I hadn?t of read all of that and just waited for my doctor but I couldn?t help it!
Thank you!

Just to throw it out there... I bet if you got some of the discharge from 'inside' your vag that it would be white... it turns yellow as it's exposed to urine from your vag...think about it, you pee, you wipe, but its still leave some of the pee which tints the discharge...
All I'm saying is that its most likely nothing to worry about.
I should have kept a diary of the variety of mucus I've seen these last eight months. But that would be gross.
I think you are fine!
This is me exactly. Don't Google-those stories are most likely there for any type of discharge. There is no type that hails a miscarriage other than red blood-and even then it doesn't always mean a miscarriage.
Try Googling creamy discharge and miscarriage, I bet they'll be just as many stories of that preceeding a miscarriage.

A good rule of thumb - don't Google when you're stressed! Think about it - those stories are purely anecdotal; they are not scientific or medically based. My husband thinks he has his M.D. from Google and is constantly diagnosing himself with the most idiotic ailments based on what he Googles. Google is not your friend - but your doctor is :-)
