My little brother overheard me telling our mother that I feel huge, and that it depresses me to see the numbers on the scale when I go to the doctors. He is studying the metric system in school, and asked me what I weighed. When I told him (took a bit of convincing on his part) he converted it to kilograms. Now THAT number I enjoyed seeing. But then the little terd had to go farther..."Of course you could always weigh yourself in grams!" and proceeded to show me a 5 digit number! I'm perfectly content seeing the pounds now! And if I get depressed again, I'll just convert them to grams and be content with where I am.
Re: 14 year old brother made me feel better about weight gain. LOL
