I really like this too, so far, it's a big advocate of breastfeed (ok, good), being a SAHM (not ok for me but nice in theory) and is an attachment parenting method book for sure.
So far I've heard good things about Happiest Baby on the Block. My sister gave me a copy. I am having the hardest time reading baby books though, I'd rather be reading my fiction!
This and Baby 411 are by far the best books I've read in that they offer a lot of practical advice about a variety of topics (not just sleep...although I have a few of those books too!).
Re: Baby Books
i really liked the dr. sears baby book.
i also enjoyed a book called "the portable pediatrician" by laura nathonson. (https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Pediatrician-Practicing-Pediatricians-Development/dp/0060938471/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1301598111&sr=8-2)
on the other hand, i got nothing out of your baby's first year week-by-week or what to expect the first year.
Yeah, I didn't read a lot of great reviews about week-by-week and I personally wasn't a huge fan of WTEWYE so I thought I'd skip the baby version.
Oh boy -- I've been stocking up on these!
I've got;

I really like. It's a little crunchy at times but it makes perfect sense and has a LOT of great reviews on Amazon (over 600 five stars!)
I just started this one;
