Hello everyone! We are yet another week closer! I hope that you all had a nice week.
Damabo80 had her MFM appointment and they found that while her LO is measuring a week behind, all of her body parts are a week behind which is good! They have also found a reason for the slow growth. She has a restricted blood flow to the uterus which along with high blood pressure may lead to preeclampsia. We will have you and LO in our thoughts and pray that your LO continues to grow at a normal pace and you don?t move into Pre-e.

I've been told that DH's work will probably have a shower for him. I'm also guessing that MIL & SIL might put something together. But we're living so far away from my family right now that I don't think I'd be able to get home for one up there, even if they wanted to throw one (which I'm sure they do).

I'm still avoiding making any LO purchases, although MIL has bought her several little outfits already! But tomorrow DH & I are planning on going to start our registries...YIKES.

Yes! I've always been a NY Mets fan, but haven't followed them closely lately because they broke my heart one too many times by choking at the end of the season. This year I think we're due, though...
2. What do you do for a profession? Do you like your job?
I'm a veterinarian. There are many aspects of my career that are extremely rewarding. But my last job was at an extremely stressful practice & once we moved I decided to take a break for awhile. I'm looking to go back part-time, either before or after LO comes (depending on how things work out). Within my field, though, my dream job would be to go back for a residency to become a clinical pathologist & get to do nerdy labwork.
Can I be added in please. My due date is July 18 and we are having a girl

2- My latest purchase for little one was her crib.
1- I love baseball, so bummed I couldn't make it to opening day this year but I had to work. I root for the ROYALS!
2- I am currently a Nutrition Care Tech. I do like my job but I am planning to eventually be a Registered Dietician so I am anxiously awaiting starting an internship so I can do more with my degree.

I had a family one a couple of weeks ago out of state. It was great to see everyone (especially my grandparents) and it was pretty low-key. Most of the gifts were shipped to our house and we got a TON of clothes. I will have another work shower which will be pretty big, and then I think my friends out here are planning a "surprise" shower...

Hmmmm...we just bought a ton of stuff at IKEA. Rug, curtains, shelves, and a laundry basket. I also bought him a cute little guitar outfit that says "daddy rocks" that I couldn't resist (DH plays guitar). I don't have time to PIP though:(

Not unless I am watching it there. I am a Diamondbacks fan because we live in PHX and those are the games we go to. We also live right down the street from the Reds/Cardinals spring training field.

I am a kindergarten teacher (ESL specifically). I love it most of the time, but it can be very stressful and exhausting because I teach in a Title 1 school.

2. What do you do for a profession? Do you like your job? I was laid off in January from a job I loved. It was hard job-hunting while pregnant and I hate my current job. I work in the billing department for a large corporation. I am hoping to find something else while on maternity leave.

Thank you so much!!! And that IS too funny! Right now DH's biggest fan is our little niece (who'll be 2 in May). She came to their baseball game last week & for the first few innings just kept on screaming DH's name! I was trying to get her to yell "Go Hornets!" instead, but she just wanted to cheer on her favorite uncle.
I'm guessing that's going to be happening with our little girl in a couple of years, too!
