My husband tried to make ?clairs. Using Pierre Herm?'s recipe.

Fail. They all went flat. He said it was easy making the choux but the dough was mean. 

Really. Stick a wooden spoon in the oven? 

Recipe 911. He has all this cream and no dough.

I didn't do the wooden spoon thing.  Instead, once out of the oven and cool enough to handle, I made a small hole at one end to let the steam out.  Not a single one of my eclairs went flat.  I learned that trick from Alton Brown.  Good luck next time!
