We're going out of town tomorrow, and I am amazed at how much crap I have to pack now.
I used to pride myself on being able to pack for a week in a carry-on. Not so much anymore...bottles, pump stuff, clothes, blankets, toys, and then I finally get to pack my clothes.
How do people fly with all of this stuff?
Re: My Days of Packing Light are Over
It stinks! I'm dreading flying to visit the inlaws.
We stayed in a hotel for ONE night, and it was ridiculous how much crap we had to bring.
Don't forget a bottle brush and a little bit of dish soap
Just in time for the airlines to start charging for bags...
DH and I would NEVER EVER check a bag, no matter where we went or for how long, but those days are over!
Thank goodness we aren't flying.
We'd go broke with the extra baggage fees.

It was $100 extra for DS's bag and PnP when we flew in September.

I studied abroad and then traveled in Europe for 6 wks one summer and, no lie, packed EVERYTHING into a carry on suitcase that fit in the overhead compartment.
We've done 2 trips thus far with DD and where I used to adore going on trips, I actually get a little depresed now. IWe have to take way too much stuff and we actually use it all so I can't even learn to pack lighter. This is the way it is now. Ugh.
