Dancing Baby? (Clicky Poll)

Two part post - the first part being a quick poll to see how many of us are feeling our LOs move regularly and the second being a personal question - every time i put my hand on my belly to feel it from the outside, my LO settles down and usually doesn't move... which has made it difficult for DH to feel (he's felt her twice but she's stubborn!). Do your LOs do this too? Any hypotheses why?

I definitely feel my daughter moving ALL THE TIME (she's a busy baby in there :-) I've figured out her schedule - she is NOT an early riser. Mom gets up at 5:30am, baby doesn't move till 9 am, then has a little noon activity jaunt, another one around 4-5 pm and then some jumping jacks before bedtime. I only feel her at night if i'm waking up for some other reason. But put a hand on the belly.... INSTANT STILLNESS!!! :-) (have no idea if the hand is comforting of just way too scary!)

My DH hasn't felt the baby move yet.  I have really bad circulation and always have really cold hands so as soon as I touch my stomach the baby typically stops moving.   I'm convined that my hands make the baby not want to move anymore.

my little boy moves around whenever I relax.  As soon as I lay down on the couch or in bed, he starts kicking.  I literally looked down yesterday and saw my belly jumping.  DH has felt it and seen it as well.

MY little one moves around a lot. His pattern seems to be that he's pretty calm in the morning. I get a little bit of movement around lunch, a little bit here or there during the day and then at like 8 or 9 every night he goes crazy for most of the night while i"m sleeping haha. 

DH hasn't been able to feel him yet. I've had a bunch of kicks that I can feel from the outside but once I feel it once, I very rarely get another one soon after so I'm waiting to get more consistent kicks to the outside to have DH try to feel them.

Lo seems to move starting from about 9am until 11am and then again in the late afternoon and then before i go sleep at night. DH has felt LO only twice because he/she stops almost everytime DH puts his hand on my stomach!

I feel my LO moving all the time, but she really hasn't fallen into a predictable pattern yet.  I typically get kicks in the morning, in the afternoon, and at night, but I'll also get a few intermittent kicks in between.  I swear I should be able to feel them from the outside because if my belly happens to be pressed against something when she moves I'll feel like my belly is being pressed further into said object.  But, of course, as soon as I lay my hand on my belly she stops moving, lol.
