I'm bored and lurking around...and unfortunately found this on third tri:

When I was 40 wks with my dd I thought my water broke so I had my dh smell and taste it because my OB said it would smell and taste sweet. I went to L&D and found out that I just peed. My dh was so grossed out, but now we laugh about it.

I like the implication that amniotic fluid (which includes the baby's urine) wouldn't be gross.
