Insect repellant

Have you used any insect repellant on your LO?  If so, what kind.  I am scared to due to all the chemicals so I wanted to ask.  Thanks!

I'm also curious about this. My parents have REALLY bad mosquitoes at their house, and I don't want him to NEVER be able to go outside and play! But they have a swamp in their backyard and it's like Mosquito City back there! Plus I HATE mosquitoes and always have bug spray on, I don't want to have to wash up every time I pick him up!

Badger Balm also makes a good one.

I've had good luck with hats with repellent impregnated in the fibers, too.  The fabric is called "buzz-off."

use Avon skin so soft body lotion, we used this on sam last fall when the skitters where bad and she didnt have a bite on her.
