Embarrassing ? re: steamy dreams - TMI?

I'm putting on my brave face to post this.

So twice since my BFP I've had a steamy dream and have actually climaxed in the dream  which has resulted in some seriously strange cramping that happens quickly and passes quickly. That part wakes me up. It feels like I've done too many ab crunches or like a really intense but not painful quick gas cramp that spreads or radiates briefly.

I'm only 6 weeks today and in all my PG books this issue doesn't get addressed until like week 12 or more. One book said that this is because your uterus has always hardened when you climax only now you can feel it because it's bigger and there's more going on down there. I'm not super worried about it and I'll ask my doc about it at our first appointment.

But... has anyone else had this early as well? 

Prior to my BFP I've had this happen once in a while in my dreams but not had the cramping and certainly it hasn't happened as often. Also DH and I have fooled around since the BFP but not actually had sex, so I haven't experienced it when I'm awake.

Hey, if you can't post this here, where could you post it? I can say that I've definitely had some minor and brief cramping after climaxing, although I don't remember when that started...As for the dreams, I've certainly had many vivid dreams since my BFP, some quite steamy. Never actually climaxed during them, but I say go you! I don't think it's anything to be concerned about.

OMG - this has happened to me too.  So far, just once since my BFP but it was pretty memorable.  DH and I aren't having sex right now until my next u/s so I figured it was just pent up frustration.

I am just about 7 weeks and it has happened twice as well. My cramping after is very uncomfortable so I sorta wish it would stop!!

I have had the same thing with the cramping after climax (both while asleep and awake).  I have found that laying on my stomach for about 3-4 mins really helps subside the cramps.  Enjoy the freebies though!

Yes  and it makes me nervous because we're not allowed to have sex yet.

Yes, although I don't remember my dreams, I just wake up in the middle of O. Mine started at exactly 7 weeks, and I'm still having them! The first one I had was actually quite painful. The rest after that, I had cramping afterwards. 

I wish it would stop though, it freaks me out!

Ah, the infamous sleepgasm:) Yep, been there done that (including the cramping). It's enough to freak you out, but you should be fine. And just a heads up, the steamy dreams can come back in 3rd tri!
