Re: 3rd row suv/crossover

  • Dodge Durango
  • We have a 2010 Acura MDX and LOVE it. We usually just have the third row folded down, but I figure it will come in handy for toting kids around for soccer games (thinking waaaaaaay into the future!).

The gas mileage is kind of crap, but I think that you will get that with most V6's. It is very comfortable for an SUV and rides smoothly.

  • We have a Ford Explorer with a 3rd row.  I'm really short and I don't do well driving a big car, so this was a great option for us. It has the 3 rows we wanted but it's not huge.

  • I looked at the Pathfinder. It really rides like a truck, so not smooth like some others. It also isn't as spacious as it looks from the outside.

I used to have a Murano, and I liked that, but it doesn't have a third row.

I really liked the Acadia, but because of what we could get for our money, I went with the Honda Pilot...and I LOVE IT! I actually looked at it when I got my Murano and didn't like it then. It's now my favorite vehicle! It rides great, tons of room for baby and storage in the back. I felt like it was a really good bang for the buck.

    Thanks! (And Shana too)

I think I will look into those. I really like the Sorento, my neighbor has one and really likes it. But I haven't even looked at Pilots so I will have to check them out!

  • The Buick Enclave is actually really nice and a decent value for the money.
