I put all his socks, hats, onsies and pants/shorts in the dresser. Everything else I hung up in the closet in size order. I like having everything hung up that way I can see what we have and makes it easy to find what I need. Plus it was less time consuming then folding all those little clothes.

My dresser is also our changing table, so the first drawer is taken up by all my CD supplies. In the second drawer I have onesies and sleepers and in the bottom I have blankets. In the closet, I have plastic drawers full of socks, hats, etc and then I have his "outfits" hung up. I think once he's bigger and I have more clothes, I'll keep more in the bottom drawer, but for the newborn stage, this is what makes sense to me.

The only things I hang are coats and rompers. Everything else is in the dresser beneath the changing pad - I hate hanging clothes, and I wanted clothes accessible while baby was under my fingers on the changing pad.

This exactly- dressy/occasional clothes in the closet and everyday items where baby will be naked and ready to be dressed.
