DD is now so distracted that she barely eats at all during the day. She'll have little snacks and then a couple of bigger nursing sessions, but mostly she's eating in bulk all night long.
With DS, it wasn't quite so hard to fix b/c he was the only DC, so I could make sure that I took him somewhere there weren't many distractions. With DD, DS usually is the distraction. I can't exactly leave him alone to take her elsewhere to feed her.
Do I just have to live with the situation given the circumstances?
Re: How do I reverse a reverse-cycled bedsharing DD?
I had the best luck (and least amount of crying, almost none) with Ferber's nightweaning method. I modified it a bit + made extra effort to get extra calories in during the day (like giving EBM in a sippy @ meals), & Ari was nightweaned in a week. Basically you hold your LO off for 30 mins @ each waking, adding an addt'l 30 minutes each night. I found that some wakings I could only hold him off for 15 mins, some an hour.
