A lot of girls on here said that when their water broke, it followed a "pop" that they either heard or felt. Is that always the case? Or can it just start to trickle/flow? I know a lot of us won't have our water spontaneously rupture, but I'm just curious what it *might* be like. I'm almost at the 2 week mark... Remember the 2 week wait when TTGP. I thought those were the longest 2 weeks ever. Boy was I wrong!!

Re: water breaking question- POP??
Amen, sister.
I don't know the answer to your question, though.
My Blog - Our Story So Far...
When I had my daughter it felt like a water balloon breaking, and a big gush. I was actually sitting on the toilet and had just finished going pee when I had a bad cramp and "Pop" and gush... I immediatly called my Dr office
I'm worried this time it'll happen differently, I've heard of other women having a "slow leak" I think you just have to pay attention to your body and note any differences, no matter how slight
My water broke with my first. I didn't hear a pop or anything at all. I just remember sitting down and when I stood up I could feel it come out and my pants were completely soaked. It can defiantly just trickle a little and I think it can vary a lot depending the position you are in, whether it be laying down, sitting, or standing. I'm right there with you and these last 2 weeks are taking forever!
I think like a PP said, if it breaks low in the uterus, you hear the pop and it's a big gush. But if it breaks high, it will be more like a trickle/leak and probably no pop.
I heard the pop before mine broke. and then there was a TON of fluid, there was no mistaking it.
