I like Anna and Annie, but would prefer Anna as a double FN (possibly Anna Gray). I like Annie, but it feels nicknamey. What's your favorite name that Annie can be a NN for?
My grandmother's MN was Annette, but I don't care for it.

I love Annie on it's own & it's actually at the top of our girl list. If we decided to go with a more "formal" fn we would use Annelise. I really like Annie Elizabeth.

Youngest DD was named after her GR-grandmother and Grandmother-Annie Ruth. We call her by both...it just kind of stuck.

"And can it be that in a world so full and busy, the loss of one weak creature makes a void in any heart, so wide and deep that nothing but the width and depth of vast eternity can fill it up." - Charles Dickens
Anne is one of my favorite names. But I adore Anna Gray! I know a couple of Anna double names, Anna Bennett and Anna Vaughan, and I think they are lovely.
You can choose pretty much any name with "an" somewhere in it and use the nn Annie.
I do like the suggestion of Anastasia though. It lends itself to lots of nicknames if she ends up not liking being called Annie. I have a friend named Anastasia, but she goes by Stacy.
Single Mother by Choice.
Life didn't work out the way I planned so I did it on my own.
