Okay, so I've read about biting while nursing and how you're supposed to immediately end the nursing session so they'll learn not to do that.
Well my kid learned too well, because now he bites down to let me know he's finished. Or that he's not interested right now, or that he wants to switch sides. UGH!
Any ideas on how to stop this behavior? Do I do the opposite and refuse to end the nursing session now? LOL.

Oh yeah, it's definitely a game and he definitely knows he's not supposed to. He BARELY bites down. Lucky for me it's not enough to really hurt, he just does it enough to get my attention and he does it with a grin on his face. Then I pull my shirt back down, say "no - we don't bite mommy!" and put him on the floor or in his crib or whatever, and he sometimes giggles and happily goes about playing. It's like he's saying "thanks mom - i was done, that's what I wanted you to do". Ornory little monkey. Oh and sometimes he makes a game of it where he PRETENDS like he's going to bite but then instead he backs off and giggles, and he'll do it over and over. It's actually cute but still - bad baby!
