Babies: 0 - 3 Months

making baby food questions....

Do you think this is worth it? https://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/5279732/index.cfm?clg=21&bnrid=3181401&cm_ven=NexTag&cm_cat=Shopping&cm_pla=specialty-electrics&cm_ite=Beaba%20Babycook

If not, what brand/type food processor would you recommend? What cookbook for baby food do you recommend?

TIA

Re: making baby food questions....

  • I'm sure it's fine, but for a cheaper option that you can use for other things once you don't need to puree baby food anymore is the mini prep -

We use this and it's perfect for pureeing.  check out wholesomebabyfood.com for recipes and how to get started. It's a great website!  Good Luck and Have Fun!

  • I don't think it's necessary (or worth it really).  I use a good ole blender and it works wonderfully.  I've gone to wholesomebaby.com for recipes and baby food making info.  It's super easy and actually lots of fun!  GL
  • I just use a Cuisinart.  I love it, plus you can do other stuff with it.  I'll be the 3rd vote for wholesomebabyfood.com, it's an awesome site!!!!

  • My MIL is giving me this for Christmas. She claims it's the best. I'm willing to try it.?
  • I've been using the blender, food processor or the "happy baby" food grinder and they work great.
