God bless my mother. She came over yesterday for a few hours to watch the boys. While I was gone she folded FOUR baskets of laundry. I've yet to put it away and I'm embarrassed to admit that was only part of what needs to be done, but at least she did part of it!
I haven't put laundry away in probably a month. I'm great at getting it done/folded, but not so great at putting away (other than H and I's). So, there is a basked for each kid at the end of my bed, and that's where I go to pick out the next day's clothes. pitiful.
I wish I could. I have three over-full baskets sitting at home waiting for me to fold right now. I will be doing that while watching Biggest Loser tonight. These baskets probably will not be put away, but at least they will be folded by the end of the night. (I hope!)
You know I saw on the Duggars and another family that they keep all their clothes in one room and use their closet to store other things. Maybe if I did this I wouldn't hate putting the clothes away.
Since we don't have a basement, I wonder how the kids would feel if I converted the playroom to a giant family closet?!
The other day I was thinking that I do laundry more than I do just about anything else. I do at least a load or two of laundry every day. If I don't then it gets to be too much and will turn into a mountain pile somewhere in the house. I fear that I will lose one of the children in the clothes.
This is me. I also cannot stand to live out of baskets. I have to make myself put it all away as I pull it out of the dryer. I don't know what I would do if I lived in a multi-story home!

This is what we do! My guest room is our folding room. We each have a section of the room where I put all our folded clothes. Not much gets hung up in our closets and the only stuff we put away is our underwear and socks in our drawers in our rooms. Everything else gets folded and piled in the guest room.
With DC#2 on the way and DS moving into the guest room, I am not sure what we are going to do and I'm scared....

If my laundry room weren't in the basement, I might just do that. My laundry room is pretty big. I do need to get a hanging rod down there for DHs shirts so they don't get quite so wrinkled.

I spent my whole weekend doing laundry. I have no idea when I got so behind. If I were smart, I'd have another load in right now so it doesn't happen again.

I could've written this post.
