We are expecting our first girl in less than 6 wks and have several names on our list but are trying to narrow it down. We will wait and see what she looks like but I am interested to see what other people think. The middle name will be Margaret after my grandmother. Thanks for your thoughts!
Names:
- Leila
- Olivia
- Riley
- Sydney
- Nina
- Alana
Re: Baby Girl Names - Trying to decide!
Leila is the only one I feel like goes well with Margaret for some reason and I really like that name.
I also like Nina, Olivia and Alana though. Not a fan of Sydney or Riley.

They are all beautiful!! And a few are on our name list.
I love love Riley and can't use it because my hubby isn't a fan. But Riley Margaret is precious!!
Leila - I like it
Olivia - always a classic, sadly very popular right now
Riley - only for a dog. Also a surname which I hate as first names
Sydney - NMS. I don't like place names.
Nina - lovely and classic
Alana - I prefer the spelling Alanna but I love this name.

GEEZ!! Riley belongs on Boys!!
Nina is fantastic!!
Honestly I'm not a fan of any of them except Leila Margaret (although are you pronouncing it "LAY-la" or "LIE-la"? I prefer 'LIE-la" and actually prefer the spelling Lilah or even Lila). I do like Nina, Olivia and Alana, but they don't seem to flow well with Margaret IMO, and Riley and Sydney are too masculine sounding for my taste.
