LO's due date is in 4 freaking days. 4!

He has two very simple tasks to do this week before she arrives - rent a RugDr to shampoo the livingroom, dining room and nursery's carpets and to go get his car washed & detailed using a Groupon I've already bought and expires on Thursday. Today is the last of his 3 days off and do you think he's done one of those two things!? His ass is playing fantasy baseball on his stupid Xbox that I'm about to throw off our 3rd floor balcony.

Plus he went to our old Chiro with papers from our old insurance (their claiming he had a pre-existing condition) this morning - all he had to do was give the dr the papers to fill out and he comes home saying the guy did a mold of his feet to order special shoe inserts. We don't have insurance that covers seeing this dr anymore! ARGH!!!

Why did I marry and proceed to reproduce with this man!?! Vent over.

I hear ya!!  Men just dont get it...I had to keep on my DH for weeks to get him to do the things i wanted done around the house before LO arrives...he finally did them this past weekend when he found me in the bathroom sobbing crying about being overwhelmed!!!

LOL I am sorry that this is funny to me but my husband is the same way. I had to yell at him lastnight it seems like if I do not do it it doesn't get done or if it does nothing is right about it. I am sick of it and had to tell him! It's quite annoying. He is such a procrastinater it drives me crazy! I finally end up getting pissed and doing it myself. Heres a kick in the arse for your DH and I hope he gets his head out of his arse and gets on the move! GL

Happy to hear I'm not alone. The last comment was said to get a giggle or two - I'm a very outlandish, sarcastic person. But I ended up taking the main plug (and a whole bunch of wires) out of the Xbox which got a few names thrown my way but it got hiss ass in gear. He just stormed out to go get his car detailed. It's ridiculous what I have to do and how emotional I have to get in order for him to do anything but you know what, I won so I'm semi-happy.

OMG I'm 100% in your shoes right now too!  I made hubby a list 3 weeks ago and he's still dwindling down the list to finish the last few things.  We're having TWINS and I'm scheduled to deliver this Sunday (if not sooner of course)  His task for today is to take the darn dog to get his shots and renew his license which was supopsed to be done by the end of DECEMBER!  He had a 30 day grace period so he had till the end of January, here we are almost in APRIL and now our late fees will exceed the price of the license to begin with!  I'm pissed.  I gave this task to him because between being pregnant with twins, toting a 2 year old around, and taking an 85 pound dog to the clinic it was just too much for me to handle at the time!  It took him 3 weeks to 100% set up the swing to completion.  He just kills me.  Finish a task, start to finish and cross it off the list already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Uhhhh, men are infuritating!  I told him he's totally stressing me out and making me mad because I need these things done and they are not things *I* can do right now!

my husband is the same way.  nothing ever gets done unless you nag constantly, and then it becomes a huge fight.

My little melt down last Thurs night seemed to light a fire under DH's arse. I think he finally figured out it was easier to do the things on the list than to deal with my anxiety and tears.
