What is this? Upper belly contraction?

So I tend to get BH contractions when I'm walking or stand up after sitting for awhile.  They are always concentrated to my lower belly in the middle.  Tonight, while I was sitting down, my upper belly on the right side has been contracting... It feels like the muscles are seizing or cramping up.  Its not painful, but I've definitely had to breathe through them.  Has anyone else had this?

Are you sure LO isn't sticking his or her butt up there? Even though he's not in my ribs anymore, that can sometimes take my breath away, like a contraction.

That's probably what it is.  He normally pushes his butt out like that, but doesn't usually hold it there.  New tricks now that he's running out of room!

Ya my baby does that too, He sticks his butt right up in my ribs on the right side and it feels rock hard and is just sore. Try doing some stretches like pelvic tilts and/or lay on the opposite side baby's on. It usually helps me.
