i just wont ever go out in public again...theres no way. I will just have no life until they're 18 or 25...
i mean who tries to shop for a wedding dress with two 3 month olds and one other adult when theyre 25 pounds heavier than they are used to being...crying babies and a fat a$$ in a white dress that just finally started her period and is on full blown PMS.... not a good combo. its my own dumb fault. they wont nap in public, theyll fight sleep til their eyes wont stay open any longer, they cry in the cry every time it stops, and now theyre so tired at home they wont sleep. day from hell with a fat mom who feels like it will never get better. and if one more person says you just had twins, its ok, ill kill them...
vent over. going to crawl under a rock.
Re: bad, bad, bad, bad day...
Eeeks. I'm sorry you had a rough one.
I'd go back out after AF is gone and making you feel 10 xs worse (physically and emotionally)--and if possible--have your SO watch LOs or if you have someone (a friend or a babysitter), ask them to watch LOs during a nap window so you can go out, shop, and it just be you to worry about.
You'll find your dress. And no, you're not a fat a$$. You DID have twins ::ducking down::--and a sh*tty day atop having to have your kids along and PMS are just a lethal combo. Scratch today's bad experience and give it a go this weekend (or a day you can manage to get out for a few hours). And please don't go shopping during AF--no one ever ( new twin mom or not) feels good in the dressing room while bloated and irritable.
GL!
this! I'm so sick of hearing that too.
wedding dress shopping is stressful imo. + having 2 LOs who fight sleep...and then they get overly tired = eek!
If I have to go out shopping for a length of time, I love it when I only take 1 kiddo w/me. It's soooo much different, and peaceful, imo. And I tend to find ppl are more willing to help me if I only ask them to watch 1 of the twins. You will find your special gown, it just wasn't today.
((HUGS))
Babysitter...spanx...not on your period...in the am = probably a much better shopping experience
You are gorgeous Momma.
