Team Green Anatomy Scan!

We had our anatomy scan today and everything looked great! I was so relieved to see a baby moving around in there since I hadn't really felt anything. We told them we didn't want to know if it was a boy or a girl but the whole time I kept trying to see anyway, and look for "clues" LOL. I didn't see anything though. I'm so happy though that everything went OK! : )

That's awesome! Ours is next week and we're staying strong with team green!! I have had 2 dreams so far that the tech accidentally tells us it's a girl, and I was devastated to find out before the baby's born. In the latest dream, they showed us a 3D picture of the girl parts, and it was a full on little baby vagina- pretty graphic lol!

It took about 30 minutes, I think. They measure the head, waist, spine, arms, legs, etc. I have an anterior placenta so that's why I haven't felt much movement yet (not a bad thing, it just means your placenta is in the front so there's more of a cushion between baby and me). 

I think I was kind of hoping that there would be an accidental slip up and I would find out the sex, ha ha!

Congrats! You will be so supried on the birthday! I gave a lot of thought into staying green but my mom wanted to know so bad lol! 

I know what you mean about not feeling anything and actually seeing a moving baby! My LO was moving around a lot and it was amazing because I don't feel anything moving around. Soon enough I suppose

We are team green and I have anterior placenta as well. Our scan is next week and I am soo excited.  I am so afraid we are going to see something in the scan that will give away the surprise, hopefully the tech is skilled or good at distracting me from the screen when/if they go down in that area.  At my 12 week ultrasound I was floored to see how much the baby was moving and that I couldn't feel that inside my body.  It kind of weirds me out that something can be turning, kicking, hitting etc so much in there and I am clueless.  I can wait to feel the lil bugger move already it is killing me!

Yay, this makes me feel a little less stressed and more excited for ours tomorrow. I'm so worried that I will either not be able to watch the baby move much for fear of finding out, or I will be able to see baby move but it will be obvious to me what "parts" he/she is sporting. A good family friend of my MIL who is an RN told me over the weekend that I wouldn't be able to stay team green because I'll be too excited to see the baby. I told her I just wouldn't look at that area, and she insisted that I'd just know if I even looked at the screen at all...totally stressed me out. Congrats on a healthy scan, and thank you for sharing!!

Well, for what it's worth - at one point I was pretty sure I could see the "three lines" for a girl, but then the tech said "this is your baby's brain...." LOL!
