whiteout (not using white rice cereal...)

anyone read about this and start their kids on whole grain cereal? I've ordered some cereals (we're able to start them at 4 mos) from Bob's Red Mill that are brown rice cereal and other whole grain cereals to try with the twins. Wondering how others' babies responded or if it made no difference.

We also started with brown rice cereal and whole grain oatmeal but they hated it.  We skipped it altogether and went into veggies & fruits.

Didn't ever read that article but just wanted to say that most places (Target, off the top of my head) sells brown rice cereal in brands, I think, such as Happy Bellies and Earth's Best. 

I tried to mix it up simply to see what DDs liked. They tolerated the whole grain cereal just fine, especially when mixed with purees.
