We're getting ourselves a new oven, since our "old" one doesn't work. It's our Christmas present to ourselves (we're a bit late in picking one out).
I'm trying to decide between: bigger oven space or an extra burner.
We don't have the finances to go super fancy... at first I was all "if we could get a 5 burner I would be SOOOO happy" but the more I think about it, the more I'm wondering if I'm being ambitious. I've never thought to myself, "oh if I had just one more burner everything would be great" but I totally have thought "If I just had two more #$% inches I could fit that second caserole dish in!" :::shove shove::::
Input please! I need help picking! I've NEVER picked an oven before!
Re: NBR: need oven advice: five burner vs capacity?
We have a 5 burner jenn-air stove that has two ovens (the top is a mini oven) we use that one about 95% of the time for anything that just goes on a baking sheet or dish. The bottom we use for anything larger (big cakes, roasts, thanksgiving etc.)
Even though we have 5 burners, I don't think you could put 5 things on at once. the double oven is the best thing I've ever had though, and since the top one is small, it heats up super fast! Also, if you are cooking two things at 2 different temps, it's wonderful!
Ok...here's a link to what we have. The center burner is pretty useless, but the 2 ovens is priceless, IMO.
