I just don't understand my cat (NBR)

Ok, so you know those sticks with streamers on the end that cat's love to play with? Well, my gram got one for her cat, who plays with things for 2 minutes and never touches them again, and decided to give it to me. My older cat already has one that he plays with, but this one is pink and the streamers are fuzzy. My little Bonnie (the one in my siggy) drags, yes, DRAGS this stick around the house. Forget playing with it. She is currently laying on the bed with me just licking the stick. We've tried everything to get her to stop, like sticking it in the couch so she has to play with it (she just takes it and hides it under the bed), and even giving her a little toy to play with. Nothing. We are afraid she's going to hurt herself when she gets up on the bed with it, but how can you take something like that away? It's like her security blanket.

That is too cute! I would agree that its strange behavior for a cat, but I haven't figured out what normal behavior is yet. One of our cats never plays with his toys. Instead, he carries them around the house (making the most horrible dying cat sound as he does) and then drowns them in the water dish. I've stopped trying to figure out why he does this.
