I'm having them done next weekend. costing about $150. we are having some taken outside by the lake near our house and some just inside the nursery .... i hate overly posed photos - i just want some natural looking ones. I think we'll just wear jeans and i'll wear a tank top hubby will wear a t-shirt - although i do want some bare belly photos - just for me!

$150 US dollars?
Good to hear. I just purchased a Groupon deal for $65 that includes 1-hr photo, location-of-your-choice, with 2 digital prints (extra $95 if we want all 75 retouched digital photos on DVD), and a 8x10 print. We're thinking of getting all the digital photos so we're looking at $160. I really didn't know how much these things should cost but comparing to yours, it's about right!
I hate overly posed photos too so I'm going to mix posed and some photojournalistic ones like I saw on this one site. I'm also thinking of taking mine later in May so wait for warmer weather so I can wear sundresses or skirts.

We're having maternity photos taken at a local beach. The photographer we've hired uses the photojournalistic style. He charges $150 for a maternity photo session and we also bought a $200 infant photo session that we'll have about 2 weeks after our daughter is born; he actually gave us a package deal for both for $300 total. He includes the CD with rights to re-print the finished images. I found him through a friend of mine on Facebook that hired him for their maternity session and I really liked their pictures.
I forgot to add that we're having them taken when I'm 32 weeks. I'll be wearing khaki capris and a blue top. DH will wear khaki shorts and a white polo shirt.

i hate the studio/overly posed ones. we'll be outside either at a metropark or the grounds where i work. no clue yet what i will wear as that's a ways away (towardsv the end of may). if i temember correcly it will be a $50 fee plus whatever prints i chose.

I am a photographer, I took some yesterday of my friend and her husband. She didn't want pics so this was a last-minute thing. She is 37 weeks. She wore a burgundy top with jeans and he wore a burgundy plaid button down with jeans. I am editing them now. :-) She said she wishes she'd done them earlier so she didn't look so big. She still lay across the top of a fence for me. :-)

My hub and I are having them taken at a local studio (in studio)...his aunt is also an amature photographer and we're going to have her take some outdoor photos.
I will be 34 weeks 6 days (I want to be pretty big)
The session fee is $45.00 and then you just pick the pictures that you want...I dont want to spend a ton...maybe $200-$300
I'm taking several outfits, mostly jeans and cute tops, but a few dresses too.
