Our car is in the shop!

We only have one car because we both commute to work by subway. But somehow DH managed to get into a minor accident today and now our car will be out of commission for at least a couple of days (more if they have to order a part.) I guess this means it's inevitable I'm going into labor at 4am Monday night while we have NO CAR, right??? Grrr.

Maybe double check to see if your car insurance covers a rental car for your situation...I know ours does...

Thanks -- I didn't even think of that! I know we could always take a cab too, but it's still such a PITA, not least of all because we'd have to reinstall the car seat. Oh well, at least I have a litle cushion before my due date.

That stinks!! I hope your DH is alright after the accident and that your car suffered only cosmetic damage. My car's check engine light just came on and is making this putt-putt noise - I am so devastated. Not to mention this is the last thing I need (or can afford) a week before my EDD .
